Create perfectly centered washers and ring blanks with this set of five nylon center positioning dies. Designed to fit the V-Line disk cutter (125.1734), these dies are also compatible with other round disk cutting sets that have similar hole sizes, including inch-sized disc cutter sets 125.1738, 125.1737, and 125.1790, matching holes from 1/2" to 1".

Each nylon centering die holds a pre-punched metal disk precisely in place beneath a larger punch, ensuring the inner hole is perfectly centered before the outer diameter is cut. The result is a clean, symmetrical washer every time — ideal for ring blanks, decorative washers, and layered metalwork.

How to Use

1. Punch a hole in your metal using the punch size that matches your desired inner diameter.
2. Remove the cut disk and position it beneath a larger punch hole sized to your desired outer diameter.
3. Insert the matching centering die for that hole to center the disk precisely.
4. Clamp the disk between the upper and lower halves of the disc cutter using a clamping device, such as the Pepetools clamping device.
5. Remove the centering die and replace it with the correct cutting die for the hole you are using.
6. Punch the outer diameter — your washer now has a perfectly centered hole.
