A pattern plate presses a repeating texture into sheet metal as the sheet passes through a rolling mill or a hydraulic press, and the Durston 2102 Waves Design Steel Pattern Plate carries the Waves design. Crafted from 3mm (1/8") thick hardened steel and measuring 63mm x 150mm (2.48" x 5.90"), it transfers that design onto non-ferrous metals including gold, silver, copper, and brass. Working with sheet metal from 16 gauge (thicker) to 26 gauge (thinner), it gives metalsmiths a reliable, repeatable way to add professional-quality surface texture to their work.
