Stretching, reducing, and bending a plain wedding band are three jobs that usually need three tools, and this upright bench unit does all three. The Durston Ring Stretcher, Reducer & Bender (model 1302) is a professional-grade combination tool made in Great Britain for jewelers working in gold, silver, platinum, and palladium.

The 6-spline stretching mandrel expands on the upstroke of the handle, allowing controlled stretching of non-stone-set, non-ferrous plain wedding bands. A double-sided 16-hole band reducing plate accommodates most popular domed band profiles for compression work, and a built-in ring bending jig with a single die for domed stock rounds out the tool's capabilities. The unit requires no maintenance and is ready to use straight from the box.

Compatibility

For use with non-ferrous metals only: gold, silver, platinum, palladium and the like. Not suitable for stretching or reducing steel bands, and intended for plain bands that are not stone set.
