The Edenta Swiss Sintered Diamond Disc is a precision cutting disc engineered for demanding metalsmithing and jewelry fabrication tasks. Unlike standard diamond-coated stainless steel discs, this disc is constructed of carbide-bonded compressed diamond throughout its entire body—meaning it continues to cut effectively as the disc wears down, delivering consistent performance over its full usable life.
Measuring 22.0mm in diameter and just 0.25mm thick, this ultra-thin disc is ideal for fine, controlled cuts. It mounts on a 3/32" (2.35mm) shank diameter mandrel and is compatible with standard rotary handpieces using that shank size. Note that sintered diamond discs are rigid by nature and are not flexible like diamond-coated steel discs.
Manufactured in Switzerland by Edenta (Item 5122HP) to exacting standards, this disc uses 100 micron standard grit diamond material, providing reliable cutting performance across a range of materials.

Maintenance required: To maintain clean and sharp cutting edges, periodic cleaning of this sintered diamond disc is necessary. Use Cleaning Stone 110.406 for proper maintenance. Cleaning need not be performed frequently, but doing so periodically is important to preserve cutting performance.
