The Foredom H.MH-110 is a brush-type reciprocating hammer handpiece designed for professional stone setting and engraving applications. Delivering more power than typical micromotor handpieces, this tool connects directly to the Foredom micromotor control box HP4-917 (required, sold separately) and offers precise, controllable hammer action suited to demanding bench work.
The hammer action does not engage until light pressure is applied to the tip, allowing the user to position the tool exactly on the workpiece without marring the surface or triggering unexpected movement. Once engaged, impact force is adjustable from light to full by rotating the metal ring — with the motor either running or off. Stroke speed is controlled via the manual dial on the compatible control box, ranging from 0 to 5,000 strokes per minute. This combination of pressure-activated engagement and dual adjustability makes the H.MH-110 well suited for channel setting and select engraving techniques.
Important: This is a brush-type motor. It is compatible with Foredom kits K.1080, K.1090, K.1020, K.1070, and the Dual Handpiece Kit K.1053. It is not compatible with Foredom K.1030 or K.1060 kits.
