Unlike rotary handpieces, the H.15SJ delivers a reciprocating stroke action — making it well suited for stone setting and surface texturing work. The handpiece ships with a hardened tip included, and its tips use the 4-48 US thread standard, which means all Foredom hammer handpiece tips are compatible, as are the popular Badeco hammer handpiece tips. Tips are fully interchangeable with the Swiss-made Badeco hammer handpiece.
Impact force is adjustable from light to heavy by turning the silver knurled adjusting ring, giving you precise control over your work. The H.15SJ accepts a range of tip accessories, including the pavé point (diamond tip) for bright-cut stippled texturing effects, and the Foredom Carbide Tip for marking or scribing hardened steel.
Important: Use at low speed only (0–5,000 rpm) and only in forward rotation. Requires periodic lubrication with handpiece lubricant.
