Foredom K.BL-DCH-2 Bench Polishing Lathe with Hoods – 230V Export Version. Designed for use in countries where 230V is standard, this is the 230V export version supplied with a North American 3-prong plug. A plug adapter can be used if your 230V outlet configuration differs.
This compact variable speed polishing lathe delivers professional-grade performance at the workbench or a stand-up polishing station. A 1/6 HP high-torque permanent magnet motor runs exceptionally quiet and smooth, providing ample power across a wide speed range to handle a variety of polishing and buffing applications. Variable speed control makes this system especially well suited for wheels that perform best at lower RPMs, including platinum polishing wheels and 3M FX polishing wheels for gold and silver.
The cast iron base features mounting holes and suction cup feet for a secure, stable hold on any work surface. Precision-machined right-hand and left-hand tapered spindles accommodate buffs and wheels up to 4" in diameter. Two heavy-gauge sheet metal dust collector hoods are included and connect to a dust collector unit or shop vacuum, completing a compact, efficient polishing system.
