The Foredom M.BL-2-230V is a 230V international bench lathe motor designed for professional jewelers, metalsmiths, and finishing technicians who need reliable variable-speed polishing and buffing performance at the workbench. This model ships with a North American 3-prong 230V plug; a plug adapter is required for use in countries with different plug standards (UK, Australia, CE).
The permanent magnet motor delivers exceptionally quiet, smooth operation across a wide speed range — from 500 to 7000 RPM — making it equally suited to high-speed buffing and polishing as well as low-speed delicate work on sensitive stones such as opals and cameos. The cast iron base features mounting holes and suction cup feet for secure, stable placement on any work surface. Included tapered spindles accept buffs and brushes up to 4" in diameter. Additional lathe accessories are available separately.
