Fretz BH-1 Large Blowhorn T-Stake - 8" Across

The Fretz BH-1 Large Blowhorn T-Stake measures 8" (223mm) from tip to tip, making it an ideal forming tool for traditional silversmithing work on full-size vessels and other large-format pieces. Cast from 420 stainless steel and hardened to 50 HRC — the same grade and hardness used in all Fretz hammers — this stake delivers the durability and surface quality that professional metalsmiths demand.

Unlike most cast iron silversmith stakes, the BH-1 resists denting and will not rust. The highly polished working surface helps produce smooth, refined forms without unwanted texture transfer. Compatible with Fretz stake holders 112.720 and 112.721, this stake is designed to be mounted to a stump or heavy workbench for optimal performance, reducing bounce and minimizing arm fatigue during extended forming sessions.
