Description

Garnet belongs to a group of closely related minerals sharing the same crystal structure but varying chemical compositions. While garnet occurs in many colors, red is the most abundant and widely recognized. These genuine garnet cabochons have been cut and polished with a smooth domed top and flat bottom, showcasing rich red tones ideal for setting in jewelry.

Treasured since antiquity — and said to have been used as a lamp on Noah's Ark — garnet remains one of the most popular gemstones in the world. It is also the official birthstone for January, making these cabochons a natural choice for birthstone jewelry, bezel settings, and metal clay work.

These are A Quality natural stones sourced from Mozambique, untreated, and available in a range of round sizes from 3mm to 8mm to suit a variety of setting styles and designs.
