Glardon-Vallorbe LF1004-M Ceramic Fiber Files Flat 1mm x 4mm x 100mm

The Glardon-Vallorbe LF1004-M ceramic fiber files are pillar-shaped (thin flat sticks) measuring 1.0mm thick x 4.0mm wide x 100mm (4 inches) long. Precision-graded ceramic material makes these files ideal for finishing and polishing hard-to-reach areas such as corners, recesses, and tight interior surfaces. Use them full-length by hand, or break them down into smaller segments for use with compatible micro polishing and filing handpieces — including the Badeco 8LC100 (for use with a flex shaft) or the Badeco 4LC100 (for use with a Badeco micromotor system). These ceramic fiber files can also be shaped using diamond dressing stones or wheels for custom profiles.

Nine grit options are available, ranging from Extra Extra Extra Coarse (120) through Extra Fine (1500), allowing jewelers and metalsmiths to select the precise level of abrasion needed at each stage of finishing.

Grit descriptions (X-Coarse through Fine) are subjective and are used to help differentiate between the products.
