Glardon-Vallorbe Pillar Extra Slim 2 Sides Cut Precision Files - LP1152

A pillar extra slim file trues a flat surface where a full-width file will not fit, such as a narrow slot or the space between two close walls. It is parallel in width and tapered in thickness, so it files perfectly flat. The Pillar Extra Slim 2 Sides Cut carries double-cut teeth on the top and bottom faces, with one edge left safe (no cut). Each file is supplied as a tang only, with no handle, and measurements are given at the thickest point of the file.

• File length is measured from the point where the teeth begin to the end of the file; the tang is not included. A 6" file, for example, measures roughly 8-1/2" from tip to the end of the tang.
• Measurements given for file dimensions are taken at the thickest point of the file.
• Higher cut numbers indicate finer teeth: 00 is the coarsest and 6 is the finest.
