Glardon-Vallorbe Screwhead Precision Files are purpose-built for filing slots in small screws and narrow slots of any kind. Offered without a tang, these files feature a single-cut pattern applied only to the edges — both sides remain safe — making them ideal for precise, controlled slot work without risk of damaging adjacent surfaces.

Screwhead files are available in varying thicknesses and are numbered differently than standard precision files. The final number in the part number denotes thickness, not cut. For example, LP1850-3-4 is a 3" file with a thickness designation of #4, which corresponds to 0.55mm. Available thicknesses range from 0.35mm to 0.80mm across the screwhead file family.
