Grobet USA Italian Made Half-Round Precision Files

The Grobet USA Half-Round Precision File delivers a versatile cross-section that is flat on one side and radiused — not a true half-circle — on the other. Both faces are cut, giving you two working surfaces in a single tool. Width and thickness taper toward the tip for controlled access in tight areas. Sold individually, these files are available in three lengths and up to seven cuts, making them a staple for jewelers, metalsmiths, and tool-room professionals who need reliable, repeatable material removal.

Starting in 2015, Grobet Swiss Pattern Precision Files are manufactured in Italy. If you require genuine Swiss-made files — formerly sold under the "Grobet Swiss" label — please refer to the Glardon-Vallorbe line. Files carrying the Swiss Made marking and the fish logo were made by Glardon-Vallorbe of Switzerland and are a distinct product.
