GRS 004-840 BenchMate Encore QC Stone Setters Package

A complete stone setting workstation for the bench: a quick change workholding system with two ring holders and a bench pin, so a setter can go from holding a ring to cutting a seat without hunting for parts. The GRS BenchMate Encore QC Stone Setters Package (004-840) from Glendo GRS bundles the Quick Change BenchMate Encore with two stone setting accessories and a bench pin kit. First launched in 2015, the BenchMate Encore QC replaced the original GRS BenchMate and introduced faster, tool-free fixture changes through a drop and lock Quick Change mandrel design.

The 6 inch relieved arm has a cutout that improves access angles and clearance for hands and tools. The arm adjusts to a lower or higher vertical position for comfort and control, and the handrest attaches to either side for right or left handed users. Work is held firmly and stays easy to reposition across a range of techniques and jobs.

Compatibility

Optional GRS QC fixtures drop and lock into the mandrel with no additional tools, so setups change quickly. For work under a microscope, GRS also offers the QCX BenchMate (part numbers 104.831 and 104.832), which keeps work in focus as the tool rotates. The basic QC BenchMate without the stone setting accessories is part number 104.839.
