GRS 004-872 1.8mm Round Quick Change "QC" Tool Holders-Sold by the Piece

The GRS 004-872 is a 1.8mm round hole Quick Change (QC) tool holder, sold individually, designed specifically to hold 1.8mm round shank gravers. Unlike traditional QC tool holders that use two hex screws and feature a 0.136" (3.45mm) inside diameter hole, this holder is secured by a single hex screw — the correct configuration for reliably retaining the smaller 1.8mm shank diameter. The holder shaft measures 0.250" (6.32mm) in diameter, consistent with all GRS QC tool holders, and is 1" in standard length.

This holder is designed for use with the GRS quick change handle (part number 104.805) or any GRS quick change handpiece, including the QC Magnum, QC Monarch, and QC 901.

This holder uses one hex screw — not two — because it is designed exclusively for 1.8mm shank tools. Traditional GRS QC holders (such as 104.806) use two hex screws and have a larger 0.136" (3.45mm) inside diameter hole. Do not attempt to use this holder with larger shank gravers.
