GRS 022-290 Oil Based Molding Clay-1 Lb

This oil-based molding clay is designed to support and secure workpieces during engraving, stonesetting, and detailed hand work. By gently applying pressure to the workpiece surface, the clay conforms to the piece and helps reduce glare — improving visibility and control during fine work. Its pliable, non-hardening formula makes it easy to reposition or reuse as needed.

The clay is also well suited for holding delicate scrimshaw pieces in place. When used in combination with the Workholding Plate Assembly (Part #103.698), it provides a stable, low-profile holding solution for fragile or irregularly shaped workpieces.
