GRS 004-839 BenchMate Encore QC Basic Package

A workholding system that clamps to the bench and holds a piece steady while you engrave, set or file it, then lets you reposition it in seconds. The GRS BenchMate Encore QC Basic Package (104.839) from Glendo GRS is the entry point into the BenchMate line. Launched in 2015 as the next generation of the original GRS BenchMate, the Encore QC uses an updated Quick Change design that swaps fixtures without additional tools: drop the QC fixture into the mandrel and lock it. Work is held steadily and stays easy to reposition across a wide range of techniques and jobs.

The relieved 6 inch arm includes a cutout for better access angles and improved tool clearance. The arm adjusts to a lower or higher vertical position for comfort and control. The handrest attaches quickly to either side, so the system suits right-handed and left-handed jewelers equally. Optional accessories can be added as a workflow grows, and a wide variety of compatible tools is available separately.

For work under a microscope, GRS also offers the QCX BenchMate (part numbers 104.831 and 104.832). The "X" feature keeps work in focus as the tool rotates. The GRS QC Stone Setters Package (104.840) is also available.
