This Cobalt Steel Twist Drill Set includes precision drills from 0.50 mm to 2.2 mm, each mounted on 3/32" shanks for fast, convenient tool changes. Cobalt steel offers improved tool life over high speed steel, especially when drilling harder materials such as nickel-based white golds and stainless steels. Expect consistent cutting performance and extended service life across both hard and soft precious metals.
Features
- Cobalt steel construction for longer tool life than HSS
- Performs especially well in nickel-based white golds and stainless steels
- Extended service life when drilling yellow gold, silver, brass, and copper
- All drills mounted on 3/32 in (2.35 mm) shanks
