Description

The Dumont Pattern OO Tweezer is a Swiss Made general utility tweezer designed for assembly, inspection, and sorting tasks. The thick shanks feature flat edges, allowing the user to grip and hold objects with both the edge and the tip. Points are honed with blunt tips for controlled, precise handling. Overall length: 4-3/4" (120mm).

Available in three grades and metal types, each offering distinct performance characteristics suited to different professional environments.

Grade Descriptions

  • High Precision (HP): Dumont's finest quality grade, featuring extensive hand finishing. The preferred choice of the world's finest watchmakers.
  • Electronic Quality (EQ): Made for assembly work with less hand finishing than HP tweezers. An excellent choice for reliable everyday use.

Metal Type Descriptions

  • Carbon Steel: The strongest metal used in Dumont Tweezers. Carbon steel holds an edge and stays sharp longer than stainless steel with proper care. Note: Carbon steel is magnetic and will rust — store with a light coating of oil or under a lightly oiled protective cloth.
  • Anti-Magnetic Stainless Steel (Dumoxel): A non-magnetic, corrosion- and acid-resistant material engineered for industrial environments where these properties are required.
