Chisel work at the bench needs three things working together: a handpiece built to hold a chisel, a set of cutters, and a control that holds a steady low speed. The Foredom K.EMX-50 Chisel Dial Control Kit supplies all three for a flex shaft motor you already own. It pairs the H.50C chisel handpiece and its chisels with the C.EMX-1 tabletop dial control, and it is built for Foredom 110V TX and LX motors only. This kit is not compatible with any other brand of flex shaft motor.
The kit runs on a Foredom 110V TX or a Foredom 110V LX motor. It does not fit flex shaft motors from other makers. Owners of a 220V / 240V Foredom LX motor are covered by the high voltage version of the EMX dial control described below.
This kit does not include a motor.
The Foredom TX motor is offered in 110V only and is not manufactured in a high voltage version. The Foredom LX motor is offered in a high voltage version. If you own a 220V / 240V Foredom LX motor, request the high voltage kit in the comments box at checkout and the EMX-2 tabletop dial control will be substituted at no additional charge. The plug on the EMX-2 tabletop dial control is the North American three prong high voltage plug.
