The Foredom K.8301 Flex Shaft Kit is a complete, ready to use 115V system that bundles the M.SR motor, the H.30 handpiece and the C.FCT-1 foot control into one package for jewelers, metalsmiths and craftspeople who want reliable rotary power.

The M.SR motor is a 115V, 1/6 HP ball bearing motor running up to 18,000 RPM, holding power across nearly any material under normal load without stalling or slowing. It is reversible, which opens up a range of techniques. The H.30 handpiece holds tools from zero to 5/32" (3.9mm) in an adjustable Jacobs chuck.

Notes

Caution: when screw top mandrels are used with unmounted polishing wheels, the reverse feature can unscrew the mandrel screw that holds the wheel on the mandrel. Use only pre-mounted polishing wheels that are permanently mounted on mandrels when running the motor in reverse.
