Glardon-Vallorbe Square Blunt Precision Files (LP1474) are tapered and cut on all four sides, remaining usable all the way to the point. Manufactured in Switzerland to precise production standards through a combination of machine cutting and hand craftsmanship, these files deliver superior performance on all metals. File lengths are measured from the point where the teeth begin to the end of the file—the tang (handle section) is not included in the stated length. For example, a 6" file measures approximately 8½" overall from tip to end of tang.
