The 8180TRX features Lindstrom's progressive cut beveled edges — a geometry designed to cut soft wire at the tip and hard wire close to the jaw, delivering versatile performance across a wide range of wire gauges in a single tool.

The cutting edges are micro-beveled and hardened to 63–65 HRC for long-lasting durability under heavy use. With an overall length of 8-1/4" (210mm), this cutter is built for bench professionals who need reliable, repeatable cuts on solid copper and hard steel wire day in and day out.
