Description

A jeweler's saw blade does the piercing at the bench, and the size chosen determines how fine a cut it leaves and how thick a stock it will take. These Swiss jewelers saw blades are made by Scies Miniatures SA of Vallorbe, Switzerland and are the most popular choice among jewelers worldwide, pairing sharpness and durability with the flexibility that gives a blade a long working life. Every blade is 130 mm (5.125") long with a round back and fits standard jeweler's saw frames and fretsaws. Seventeen sizes run from 8/0 to #14, sold by the pack of 12.

Sold worldwide under a variety of popular and historic brand names including Pike, Favorite, Old Gold Label Bergeon, Laser Gold, Glardon-Vallorbe, and Vallorbe Swiss. If your saw blade package reads "Swiss Made Round Back," you have been using these blades.

Shipping charges are excessive

I ordered four dozen jewelers blades. They could have been packed in a an 8x4 1/2 manila envelope and send by regular mail for $1 or less. The shipping method you chose cost about $14 with no warning. That is excessive and unnecessary. Otherwise, the products are fine and the phone service was excellent. I will be shopping for other sources like Amazon for future purchases.
