Description

Important Notice 10/22/26: Spearhead HSS burs have ceased production.  The Spearhead factory has closed and is no longer in business.  As we sell out of sizes these burs will no longer be available.

These burs cut the 90-degree bearing seat a stone drops into, so the girdle sits level and fully supported before the metal is closed over it. Spearhead High Speed Steel (HSS) 90-degree bearing burs are hand cut by expert craftsmen in the USA, delivering the edge retention and long service life that quality jewelers demand. Each bur is size-stamped on its 3/32" shank for instant, at-a-glance identification, a hallmark of the Spearhead line. Compared to imported Tungsten Vanadium Carbon Steel burs, these HSS burs hold their edge longer thanks to the superior hardness of high speed steel, making them the preferred choice for professional stone setting work. Available in 33 sizes ranging from 0.90 mm to 11.10 mm, sold individually.
