A 90-degree setting bur cuts the bearing seat a stone drops into, so the girdle sits level and fully supported before the metal is closed over it, and this master kit carries one bur in every size the range offers.

Spearhead High Speed Steel (HSS) 90-degree setting burs are hand cut by expert craftsmen in the USA. Identifiable by the size stamped on each 3/32" shank, these burs offer superior hardness and longer service life compared to machine-cut Tungsten Vanadium Carbon Steel burs. HSS setting burs are the preferred choice of quality jewelers who demand consistent, precise seat cutting across a full range of stone sizes.

This master kit represents the complete Spearhead HSS 90-degree setting bur range, one bur per size, spanning 0.90 mm through 11.10 mm.
