Important Notice 10/22/26: Spearhead HSS burs have ceased production.  The Spearhead factory has closed and is no longer in business.  As we sell out of sizes these burs will no longer be available.

Inverted cone burs cut and shape metal at the bench where a precise, controlled profile is required. Spearhead High Speed Steel (HSS) inverted cone burs are hand cut by expert craftsmen in the USA. Each bur features the size stamped directly on the 3/32" shank, making identification quick and reliable at the bench. While HSS burs carry a higher price point than imported Tungsten Vanadium Carbon Steel burs, their superior hardness delivers a longer service life and sustained sharpness that machine-cut alternatives cannot match. These burs are the preferred choice of quality jewelers.
