Tungsten Vanadium ball burs are the most widely used burs in the jewelry industry, prized for their machine-made precision and consistent performance, and these are manufactured to ultra-high tolerance standards so they cut with no chatter or drag.

Unlike High Speed Steel (HSS) burs, which are individually hand cut and vary slightly from piece to piece, Tungsten Vanadium burs are machine made to be uniformly consistent. That makes them an excellent choice for repetitive setting work where predictability matters. Tungsten Vanadium burs offer outstanding value and precision, but they are generally not as long lasting as USA-made High Speed Steel burs.

All burs in this set have 3/32" diameter shanks, compatible with standard flex shaft handpieces and rotary tools used in jewelry making and stone setting.
