Ikohe Inside Ring Engraving Machine

The Ikohe Inside Ring Engraving Machine is a high-quality precision instrument designed for diamond drag engraving on the inside of rings. Based on a popular design used by makers since the middle of the last century, this machine delivers consistent, professional results for jewelers requiring clean, legible inside-ring inscriptions.

The machine operates using a circular dial with block lettering as the engraving type. It is a fixed-ratio engraving machine, meaning the height of the engraved characters is determined by the size of the characters on the dial in use. The included dial produces diamond scratch engraving at either 1mm or 2mm in height on the inside of the ring, depending on which side of the dial is selected.

Although engraving height is not adjustable, the ratcheting advance mechanism allows the operator to control the spacing between individual letters for precise, customized inscriptions.

This is a fixed-ratio machine — engraving height cannot be adjusted independently of the dial. Character height is set by the dial being used.
