Handmade in France, these push/pull tube safety catches represent the highest standard in brooch security. Featuring a 5mm base with a top slot design, the catch opens by pulling the pin on the tube, which slides the slot open. When the pin stem is tensioned correctly, it releases cleanly and reliably. Overall closed length is 6mm.
Available in 18K yellow gold or 18K white gold. The white gold variant is nickel-free, alloyed with palladium.
Important: Disassemble before soldering to protect the internal spring. After attaching to the brooch, the pin rivet should be finished.
