Nickel silver tie tack pinched posts designed for secure fastening with military clutch back grip fasteners. These posts feature a groove — known as a "pinch" — that snaps into the internal workings of grip fasteners for a reliable hold. They can also be used with tie tack clutches, though tie tack clutches hold by friction only and do not engage the groove.
All posts in this series measure 0.045" (1.15mm) in diameter and include fusion nibs for fusion tack welding or laser welding. The nibs can be quickly removed with a file if a flush surface is needed for conventional joining. Sold in packs of 12.
Compatible military clutch backs: 385-70, 386-70, 385-71, 386-71
Compatible tie tack clutch backs: 385-61, 386-61, 385-62, 386-62, 385-63, 386-63, 386-64
Not compatible with the 385-60 or 386-60 tie tack clutch backs or any clutch back not designed for a 1.15mm diameter post.
