These German straight solder snips—also known as hand shears—are designed for cutting solder and medium hard metals up to 20 gauge. Built for precision bench work, these snips feature straight blades and a removable return spring for comfortable, controlled cutting. At 7" overall length with 1-1/2" blades, they offer the reach and bite needed for detail-oriented metalsmithing tasks. The current version also includes a removable rubber closure to keep the blades safely shut when not in use.
