Description

Torch hoses run from the regulators to the torch, and this Primo set replaces the stiff, heavy hose usually fitted with one that is significantly more flexible and noticeably lighter, so extended bench work carries less drag and bulk.

Made for the Meco Midget Torch, the set is 8 feet (96 inches) long and color-coded for quick identification, with red for gas and green for oxygen. Each hose measures 3/16" inside diameter and has been tested for fire resistance.

Good, not great.

First, the inside diameter is 1/8", not 3/16" as advertised. I would have returned the hose, but I think I can make it work in the end. Second, these hoses are rather expensive, but since everyone sells them for roughly the same amount I assume this reflects the cost of manufacturing. On the positive side, they are very flexible and light weight, so if you are struggling with a heavier welding hose on a small torch, these are a big game changer.

Great hoses

I needed to replace my hoses for my Meco Midget torch. I needed less than 12' of hoses, so tried these. When they came they were so small I was sure they wouldn't work. But they do, just like my old hoses. And these are light weight. I wish the description between the 2 different hose types on Otto Frei explained their differences better.
