The Smith Silversmith Torch Handle NE-180A is a professional-grade acetylene atmospheric torch handle designed for jewelers, metalsmiths, and silversmiths. Tips are sold separately, giving you the flexibility to configure the torch for your specific work — from fine bench soldering to casting and annealing. The hose connection uses the USA standard B (9/16") fitting.
Acetylene atmospheric torch systems burn hotter than propane, producing a smaller, more intense flame. This makes the Smith Silversmith Torch well-suited for detailed bench work where precision matters, while still being capable of handling larger jobs such as casting silver and gold or annealing metal. The torch body measures 5-3/8" long and operates at an approximate temperature of 4,700°F (2,630°C) with a recommended fuel pressure of 10 psi.
