Description

The Kent Raible-Pruitt Tall Bezel Setting Punch is a specialized hand tool designed for setting tall, deep-sided stones in bezel mountings. Developed by master jeweler Kent Raible and handcrafted in the USA by Chris Pruitt, this 4" long, 5 mm diameter punch delivers the precise shape and mirror-quality finish required for professional bezel setting work—without the time-consuming process of grinding and hardening your own tool.

Features

  • Designed specifically for tightening bezel material around the top edge of tall, deep-sided bezels
  • Used with the tapered side down, resting on the top edge of the bezel wall, with the body of the punch facing the stone
  • When used correctly, produces a series of ridges along the top of the bezel that securely retain the stone and create a distinctive, refined pattern
  • Handmade by Chris Pruitt to the exacting specifications developed by Kent Raible
  • Crafted in the USA with professional-grade shaping, hardening, and polishing
  • Eliminates the need for skilled DIY grinding, steel hardening, and polishing to achieve comparable results
  • Kent Raible teaches the use of this tool in his online classes at Golden Sphere Studios
