JOOLTOOL 35 Micron Lime Green 3" 3M Trizact Abrasive Disc

The JOOLTOOL 35 Micron Lime Green 3" 3M Trizact™ Abrasive Disc is a self-adhesive fine sanding and honing disc designed for use with JOOLTOOL Backpads. Made from 3M Trizact™ material — widely regarded as a top-tier abrasive for fine sanding and honing applications — this 3-inch disc delivers consistent, repeatable results on metal, glass, and certain plastics.

At 35 microns, this disc produces a very fine satin to polished finish. The micron rating refers to the abrasive grit size: 35 microns equals 35/100 of a millimeter. The lower the micron number, the finer the grit. The 35 Micron disc is an excellent starting point for scratch removal on glass watch crystals and select plastics, and it is well suited as an intermediate step in a progressive finishing sequence. It is also highly effective for sharpening high-speed steel tools of any kind.

Recommended finishing sequence for scratch removal: Begin with the 35 Micron disc, then follow with the 20 Micron, 10 Micron, and finally the 5 Micron Trizact™ disc for the finest possible finish.
