Engineered from 3M Trizact material — widely regarded as the finest abrasive available for precision sanding and honing — this self-adhesive disc attaches directly to JOOLTOOL Backpads for fast, consistent results. At 5 microns (5/100 of a millimeter), this is one of the finest grits in the Trizact disc lineup: the lower the micron number, the finer the abrasive cut. The result is a smooth, polished surface finish on a wide range of materials.

The 5 Micron disc is ideal as a finishing step after working through coarser Trizact grits (35 Micron, 20 Micron, and 10 Micron), and it also serves as the recommended starting point when removing light scratches from glass watch crystals or compatible plastics before progressing through the full sequence. All Trizact micron-rated discs are equally effective for sharpening high-speed steel tools.
