The Jura by GRS 502-508 Hobo Nickel Holder is a dedicated accessory designed exclusively for use with the Jura by GRS 3X system. This holder is not compatible with any previous versions of the Jura QC system.
At the heart of this holder is a unique brass collet system engineered specifically for the most popular coin sizes that hobo nickel artists work with. The outer portion of the vise delivers a sturdy clamping mechanism that effectively reduces vibration during engraving — an essential quality for detailed coin carving work. By attaching the orbital ball to the bottom of the fixture, the artist gains the ability to tilt and rotate the vise, keeping the working area centered under the microscope at all times.
