The Knew Concepts Mk.V Jeweler's Saw Frame with Cam-Lever Tension is a refined evolution of the classic jeweler's saw, engineered for rapid, repeatable blade changes without sacrificing precision. Designed for piercing work and other applications requiring frequent blade swaps, the lever system lets you set your preferred blade tension once with the fine-tune knob, then simply flip the lever forward to release and back to return to that exact tension every time — no re-tuning required unless blade size or length changes.
The Mk.V introduces a strengthened triangulated truss design — the same geometry that defines the Mk.IV frames — along with a new, improved blade clamp system. The clamps now feature witness holes so you can visually confirm the blade is fully seated before tensioning. The extra clamp length provides more contact area for a more secure grip, and the witness holes also allow sawdust to escape, keeping the clamp faces clean and reliable over extended use.
