Composed of man-made corundum with the same chemical composition and durability as natural ruby, these oval faceted lab-created rubies offer excellent clarity with vivid, even coloration. Ruby is the most valuable variety of corundum and commands the highest per-carat price of any colored stone. Color ranges from orangy red to purplish red, with pure, vivid red to slightly purplish red being the most highly valued. These lab-created stones are synthetic in treatment, meaning no natural inclusions or heat treatment variables to contend with — ideal for consistent, predictable results in professional settings.

Clean with warm, soapy water. Use of an ultrasonic or steam cleaner is generally safe.
