This lab-created blue Spinel displays the ocean blue shade of zircon without its characteristic brittleness. Composed of synthetic Spinel, these square faceted stones offer the rich color of natural blue zircon in a more durable, workable material. This stone is usually safe to cast in place, though some risk of damage can occur. Clean with warm, soapy water. Use of an ultrasonic or steam cleaner is usually safe.
