These are Tapered Jaw RX Series side cutters. Tapered jaws are only slightly rounded at the tip, offering excellent access in tight spaces. This distinguishes them from the Oval Jaw variants, which feature a more fully rounded tip profile.

The Ultra Flush cutting edge leaves a flat surface on one side of the cut material. This is the most refined cutting geometry in the side cutter range, producing exceptionally clean results. Due to the precision of this edge, the Ultra Flush style has a more limited cutting capacity and requires careful use to avoid edge damage from misuse.
