Understanding Lindstrom Cutting Edge Types

• Micro-Bevel: Slight bevel edge for increased strength; leaves a minor peak on one side of the cut wire. Widest cutting range and superior durability.
• Flush: Leaves a practically smooth cut on one side of the wire. More delicate than Micro-Bevel; cutting limits must be respected.

Important: Lindstrom cutters are not guaranteed. Cutting capacity limits printed on the handles are rated for soft copper wire only. Metal alloys commonly used in jewelry are significantly harder and will reduce effective cutting capacity.

All flush-style cutters are delicate precision tools. Dents or damage to the cutting surface indicate that the hardness of the material being cut exceeded the limits of the cutter. If tip damage occurs, it is recommended to grind the undamaged side down to match the damaged side and continue use.
