Pearl Drilling Machine Japanese-115V

Drilling a pearl straight through without blowing out the far side is the whole job, and this machine is built for it. The Japanese Pearl Drilling Machine is a production tool for drilling clean, accurately aligned holes in pearls and other round objects up to 5 Mohs hardness, and its indexed turning jig gives every drilling cycle a controlled, precise feel at the bench. Made in Japan.

Features

• Holding jig rotates 180° while maintaining alignment, so the pearl can be drilled from both sides.
• Meeting the first hole from the opposite side at the midpoint helps prevent exit damage.
• Built for production work, with dual catch trays positioned on either side of the holding jig.
• Uses genuine Japanese pearl drills and also accepts HSS twist drills or similar jeweler's drills.
• Adjustable Jacobs chuck secures the drill for repeatable setup and operation.
