The 22mm achromatic lens is corrected for both spherical and chromatic aberrations, which means diamonds and gemstones viewed through this loupe exhibit minimal edge distortion and accurate color rendition — critical factors when color grading and clarity grading stones. The optical glass is treated with an anti-reflective, scratch-resistant coating to protect lens integrity during daily professional use.
