The Miland #3 Narrow Synclastic Pliers feature a 5/16" (8 mm) channel designed to form synclastic curves — curves that bend toward the same side in all directions — quickly and precisely. Where conventional dapping tools require time-consuming repositioning and multiple steps, these pliers allow a jeweler to form a bracelet in minutes. They are equally well suited for rings, bangles, and jewelry repair work, making them a practical addition to any forming toolkit.
The narrow 5/16" channel distinguishes this #3 model from the Miland #2 version, which features a wider 1/2" (12.7 mm) channel (see part number 146.686). Choose the channel width that best matches the gauge and width of your metal stock.
