These easy-to-use and remarkably affordable Bangle Bracelet Forming Presses help you create patterned bangle bracelets without the need for an expensive hydraulic press. This is the Transverse 24 Pattern Bangle Bracelet Forming Press Steel Die Set — a 2-part tool steel die designed to shape wire into beautifully formed bangle bracelets.
The die set is large enough to form bangle bracelets up to 2-7/8" OD from wire as thick as 10 gauge (2.6 mm). Compatible with copper, brass, silver, and gold wire, these dies are similar in concept to Ring and Hoop Presses but scaled up for bangle work.

How to Use
- Bend your wire into an oval or round shape no larger than 2-7/8" across.
- Separate the die halves and place the formed wire between them.
- For round bangles, use one of the included aluminum spacers to center the wire. Spacers may deform during use — this is expected.
- For oval bangles, center the wire carefully; aluminum spacers may still assist.
- Replace the top die half over the wire.
- Place the die sandwich on a sturdy work table with a urethane or rubber pad beneath to cushion the blow.
- Strike the top of the die firmly with a weighted rawhide mallet or other suitable mallet.
- Remove the bangle and size as needed. Join the ends for a closed bangle or finish them separately for an open style.

Notes
To prevent rusting, these dies are packed in a lubricant that should be removed before first use. After each use, apply a thin coating of oil to keep the dies rust-free. Use plain wire of any shape or create your own pattern wire using a rolling mill and draw plate.
