The Otto Frei 4-1/2" Bent Nose Prong Pulling Pliers are a modified chain-nose design engineered specifically for controlled prong lifting. The lower jaw is grooved to cradle and support the prong during the lift, while the upper jaw is slightly cut back and hooked to catch securely under the tip of the prong as it rests against the stone. This geometry gives the setter precise, repeatable leverage with reduced risk of marring the prong or stone. Recommended for prongs up to 1.50 mm thick. Made in Germany.
