Description

A drawer kit is the shortcut to a stocked bench: one purchase that puts every abrasive, mandrel, buff and blade a course expects within arm's reach. Drawer 6 of the GIA Graduate Jeweler Program recommended tool kit gathers the polishing, finishing and organizational supplies the curriculum calls for, from silicone wheels and Cratex points through snap-on disc mandrels, split mandrels, bristle brushes, felt and cotton buffs, flexacrylic polishing rods, Swiss saw blades and the storage to keep them sorted.

Features

  • Silicone and abrasive wheels: Ottotech knife edge and square edge silicone wheels, Ottotech Plat. polishers in bullet and square edge, Cratex bullet points and Mizzy heatless wheels.
  • Flexacrylic polishing rods: 3mm rods in brown fine and dark gray medium for detail work and hard-to-reach surfaces.
  • Mandrels for every head: snap-on disc mandrels, straight split mandrels, tapered threaded point mandrels, screw mandrels and German mandrels sized for the polishing rods.
  • Brushes and buffs: 3M radial bristle discs, Robinson single row bristle brushes, Supra ME end brushes, miniature felt 3-fold buffs and bobs, hard and soft felt wheel buffs and AGILO cotton buffs, most mounted on 3/32" shanks.
  • Swiss jewelers saw blades: 8/0, 3/0 and #2 sizes covering fine piercing through heavier stock.
  • Bench organization: plastic 6" test tube saw blade organizers and an adjustable compartment organizer box, plus the GIA mini calculator.
